Yorkshire Tea
Yorkshire Tea is part of the Taylors of Harrogate family of businesses and one of their most iconic brands
The tea is one of the UK’s most popular black teas and has grown a reputation globally over the last few years as a high-quality black tea.
The quality of the tea today is the same as it was at the start when Charles Taylor the founder of the company first made Yorkshire Tea by buying the very best tea he could source and blending it locally to suit the local water.
The result was an award winning tea, winning a gold medal at the London Grocery Exhibition in 1896.
Charles Taylor was passionate about coffee too and set up tea and coffee kiosks around Yorkshire and a flagship store at 1 Parliament Street, Harrogate.
Known across the region as a destination for tea lovers, today it’s the home of sister company, Betty’s.
Despite growing substantially, the company remains family owned and has not compromised on it’s love of fairness, flavour and quality and they remain devoted to the art of tea.
